A Safety Certificate (also known as a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC)) offers buyers of vehicles better protection and peace of mind by covering basic safety components of a vehicle being offered for sale or being re-registered. The safety inspection only covers minimal safety standards and should not replace a full mechanical inspection of the vehicle. A Safety Certificate covers basic things that can affect the safe operation of the vehicle, such as:
